If you live in Buffalo, or have spent a long period of time here, then you should already know that Buffalo has a very strong art community. This is a shared view point of not just locals, but also by national media sources. In 2008 American Style Magazine, which is dedicated to art enthusiasts, collectors, and travelers, ranked Buffalo as the top Mid-Sized City arts destination in the United States beating cities like Scottsdale, AZ and Pittsburgh, PA. This strong dedication to art can be seen in numerous mediums; art galleries, architecture, food and of course tattoos. In the State of New York, only New York City has a higher concentration of body modification studios then the Western New York area. There is not doubt about it, Buffalo loves its tattoos. With so many shops to choose from it becomes even more important to do your research and make sure you find an artist who's portfolio you absolutely love.
